Peace For Troubled Times - Part 1

"The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace." Psalm 29:11 [NKJV]

Is it possible to live in constant peace in such troubled times? The only way is through the Prince of Peace living within us [According to Romans 14:17]. Fear is the most often used tool of Satan. It robs you of peace and joy and leaves you without any direction. Your Christian walk becomes meaningless.

"I've told you all this so that trusting Me, you will be unshakeable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I have conquerede the world." John 16:33 [MSG]

Part of our inheritance is the peace promised to us through Jesus by God, the Father. We can know God's peace within ourselves and be at peace with others only through the blood of Jesus.

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." Colossians 3:15 [NKJV]

"I'm leaving you well and whole. That's my parting gift to you. Peace. I don't leave you the way you are used to being left - feeling abandoned, bereft. So don't be upset, don't be distraught." John 14:27 [MSG]

The committed Christian walks in this peace, despite the storms that rage around them.... they are the ones who have learnt to rest in God's everlasting arms.
