Positive or Negative Attitudes

John Mason said, "It's your attitude that determines your altitude. You'll never rise any higher than it."

Having a positive attitude doesn't mean you won't ever lose or have bad experiences. But it will determine your response. Thomas Edison tried more than 200 different substances which would be suitable as a filament for his light-bulb. In response to someone who suggested that he give up, he said, "No, I have discovered more than 200 things that will not work. I will soon find one that will."

The most unsuccessful people are those who don't attempt anything! Perseverance is the ability to stick it out until you get the break-through. Joshua and Caleb had an excellent spirit. [Numbers 14:24]

"And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]."

Don't become neutralised in your faith - you can't take a vacation from life. God is never pleased with a saved soul and a wasted life. A life without purpose is like and arrow without a bow; it has no direction, no objective and no momentum!
