It's Harvest Time!

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease." Genesis 8:22 [NKJV]

God gave specific instructions to occupy the earth until He returned. He expects us to be faithful stewards; tending, ministering, evangelising, reaching out in love etc. We must grow beyond trying to impress each other to impacting the un-churched and ungodly [Isaiah 60:1-5]. We have to impact our community now! [John 4:35-39].

The "harvest is ripe" - people are searching for the truth. If we don't tell them of Jesus, they they will look elsewhere. Don't be side-tracked. When Jesus saw the multitudes, He was filled with compassion [Matthew 9:36; John 14:16-17].

You and I were born for a time like this! The hopelessness of a dying world grasps at the straws of empty promises. Too many become incapacitated and overwhelmed by the needs around them. The church must be proactive - start where you can make a difference, no matter how small. The same question that posed to Isaiah, is now asked of you, "Whom shall I send and who will go for us?" [Isaiah 6:8]
