Faith Has A Shadow Called Fear

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but (He has given us a spirit) of power and love and of calm and a well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control." 2 Tim 1:7 [AMP]
Fear will always follow in the shadow of faith, waiting for an opportunity to raise its objections or entrench itself. But, praise God, we have overcome fear by the power of Jesus' resurrection [Psalm 23:4]. Fear knocked at the door, faith answered but nobody was there!
Fear of failure will neutralize and immobolise you. It will rob you of courage and dilute your faith.
-Fear of poverty motivated Jacob to deceive his father.
-The children of Israel feared possible starvation and wanted to return to Egypt.
-Fear of criticism caused the disciples to forsake Jesus in His darkest hour and Peter to deny Him.
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." Romans 8:14 [NKJV]
What would you attempt today if you weren't afraid of failing? Draw on your God-given resilience - your faith is all the power you need to break the shackles of fear.
