Stability In Troubled Times

"Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasuure." Isaiah 33:6 [NKJV]

Wisdom and knowledge are inseperable and will stabalise you in troubled times. Wisdom provides insight based on the facts at hand. It is the ability to apply knowledge. Wisdom is God's anointed common sense [Proverbs 3:13-26; Proverbs 8:32-36].

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10 [NKJV]

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience, but let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:2-8 [NJKV]

God is looking for those who are willing to be vessels of honour - to represents Him in these difficult times. You have God's wisdom within you - develop it.

Wisdom is the umbilical cord of knowledge. "Start with God - the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning." Proverbs 1:7 [MSG].
