Don't Be Troubled

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33[NKJV]

There will always be talk of troubled times. But the Good News is that we can have peace through it all.

"Peace I leave you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 [NKJV]

So don't worry about any concerns that lie ahead. Your future is in the capable Hands of the Father. You have been given the victory, as a child of God. The devil has been defeated - so enforce his defeat. Our confidence is in Jesus and His Word.

Happiness is what the world lives by but joy is constant, an inward manifestation of the Fruit of the Spirit. You can have joy and live under God's protection in troubled times.

"You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow, say this: 'God, you're my refuge. I trust in You and I'm safe!' That's right - He rescues you from hidden traps. shields you from deadly hazards. His huge, outstreched arms protect you - under them you are perfectly safe; His arms fend off all harm. Fear nothing - not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you." Psalm 91:1-8 [MSG]
