Humility Attracts Godly Wisdom

"When swelling and pride come, then emptiness and shame come also, but with the humble (those who are lowly, who have been pruned or chiselled by trial, and renounce self) are skilful with Godly wisdom and soundness." Proverbs 11:2 [AMP]

Pride is the number one enemy to Christian success. Vanity, arrogance and self-importance will set you up to fall. Success can be a blessing, but also a curse if it results in pride. (1 Peter 5:5)
