A lifestyle of Godly passion

Passion is not based on feelings but on conviction that is based on character and commitment. Be prepared to perservere and run this christian race with patience. Make sure you are spending your time, talents, gifts and energy on things that matter to God. If you have no purpose, vision or goals you will have no passion (Jer 29:11). An unfulfilled dream is an aborted vision.

If you have no purpose and sense of destiny for your life then the gifts and talents you have will be wasted or even abused and not used for the divine intention. "Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times." Eph 5:15

Passionate people have compassion, which is the anointing of God released by His love: having a Godly burden for others and showing mercy. Seeing people as valuable and precious is the heartbeat of God (Matt 9:36). Compassion and Ministry are intrinsically linked and is the product of a servants heart. The fruit of compassion is obedience.

Find your place in the Body of Christ - in other words link up with those who can inspire you and help keep you passionate. Be controlled by the Holy Spirit. The more the Holy Spirit controls your life and operates through you, the more God's passion will be evident in your life (Acts 7:55).
